Before founding The Bowman Firm, PC, Lori A. Bowman practiced labor and employment law for more than 30 years as a shareholder at Ogletree and as a partner and associate at Orrick.

During her years of practice, Lori litigated employment cases in state and federal court, in arbitration and before administrative agencies alleging claims, including those of harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation and wage and hour.

Lori also regularly advised clients on labor and employment law and conducted training and audits. She conducted, and participated in, hundreds of investigations and mediations.

Lori has been named a Southern California Super Lawyer for 10 years and a Best Lawyer in America for more than five years.

Lori A. Bowman earned her undergraduate degree from Indiana University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa with degrees in psychology and business, was awarded the Founder’s Day Award, and was a member of the Alpha Lambda Delta honor society.

Lori received her law degree from Indiana University where she was on the Law Review and graduated cum laude. Lori also has a master’s degree from the Institute of Labor and Industrial Relations, University of Illinois.
